Our company produces high quality documentaries and animations for broadcasting TV, government organizations, private companies, and other institutions. Our focus is mainly related to the arts, social, education, ecology/environment, and corporate areas.
From concept to script, from the production plan to post production, we do it all. Communication is our passion, and we embrace it with our brains and hearts.
Productions and Projects:
1. Soccer under Two Suns is a poetical documentary about the passion of soccer, and how a magical game during the 1958 soccer cup united two nations that barely knew each other, but shared the same emotion for the ball: Sweden and Brazil. Project in development.
2. Andante Dialogues is a musical journey through the world of music in Canada, Brazil, and France. This documentary project is in a pre-development phase, and we will have more details of it over the next few months.
3. Around Cuba in 24 Frames: How interesting would be to have a troupe of film students going to Cuba to portray the country in a documentary format? Around Cuba in 24 Frames is a road-movie documentary project aimed to analyze the present social context in Cuba through an innovative and surprising point of view: the dialectic process of filmmaking. Project in development.
4. Architecture and People of Amparo is a documentary project about the historic city of Amparo, Brazil, a place known in the XIX century as one of the biggest growers of coffee plants in the world, and a center of culture and politics for decades. With the decline of the Coffee Cycle, Amparo lost its influence, and crossed the XX century preserving its beautiful architecture and peculiar lifestyle. Project in development.
5. Let’s Trade: A considerable number of countries are growing their economies on a steady basis. Places like Canada, Australia, and New Zealand are in the front line competing to attract and retain skilled workers in order to sustain their growth. At the same time, we are seeing the phenomenon of the internationalization of unions, preparing themselves for this new reality of global flow of workers. Let’s Trade will analyze this new situation, bringing some light to this still confusing subject. Project in development (Bogart Productions and Chronopia Communications).
6. Reformulating the Creation - Take 2 is a 35 mm animated film bringing the fantastic story of Maria, a cleaning lady working at the Museum of Arts. A special day in her life happens when the art objects come to life, creating lots of surprises. Awarded project exhibited in film festivals and on TV.
7. Jump in the Abyss is a short drama film about the life of actors, and the fantastic everyday challenge of being another person on the stage. The story is focused on that very specific moment before stepping on the stage, that lapse of time where you leave your personality behind to jump into another being. Awarded project exhibited in film festivals and cultural organizations.
8. Corporate projects and commercials written, directed, and produced to a number of clients, including Caterpillar/ FG Wilson, Alberta Education Department, Folha de Sao Paulo, Hellmanns, University of Alfenas, Shopping Centers, Tupperware, Clorox, and Lojas Cem.
